“It was an improvement on Sunday’s loss to Troy,” said Guth.”It was important for us to come out and put the ball in the back of the net. We did that well tonight. Now we’ve got to look forward to Sunday and be able to come out strong for a full 90 minutes.”
Tatiana Ariza scored the game winner and followed with assists on each of the next three goals. Freshman Joceline Quiceno scored the second goal, assisted by Tatiana, while her sister Andy was the benefactor of Tatiana’s next two assists.
The Lady Govs will be tested, Sunday, when they face Southeastern Louisiana, in a noon, Sunday, contest to wrap up this four-match road trip.
