Clarksville, TN – The search is on for this year’s Miss River Queen and River Teen. The annual pageant will be held March 8th, 2014 in Clement Auditorium on the campus of Austin Peay State University.
The pageant begins at 7:00pm, and doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10.00 per person and may be purchased at the door. The event is open to the public.
The 2013 River Queen, Sarah Gross, and River Teen, Hope Parker, will be handing over their crowns to two lucky ladies that night.
The winners of the event will serve as ambassadors to the Rivers & Spires Festival, held in Historic Downtown Clarksville April 24th-26th. The Queens will be on hand that weekend to sign autographs and take part in the 10th annual Children’s Parade.
Not only will the winners gain bragging rights as the reigning River Queens but they will also advance to the Miss Tennessee USA or Teen USA pageants to be held October 3rd-4th, 2014 at APSU. This year, you can also cast your vote for which lady is most photogenic! Simply go to riversandspires.com and click on the contestant that you think looks best in pictures. Voting is open for both River Queen and River Teen, and the winner will be announced the night of the pageant.
