APSU Sports: Austin Peay Men’s Tennis
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team fell 7-0 to ITA-ranked No. 71 Georgia State, Sunday afternoon at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
The trip was a return visit after the Panthers came to Clarksville, last season, for a 5-2 win. In that match, the Govs won the doubles point and No. 2 singles match. This year, the Govs were not as fortunate.

The singles scores were not indicative of how the young Govs performed against the nationally-ranked Panthers. In fact, two matches went three sets while Tverijonas lost a first-set tiebreaker at No. 5. Ademovic dropped down to play No. 2 singles, where he won the second set and Seffrin also won his second set at No. 5 singles.
Austin Peay returns to action, Saturday, when it hosts Lipscomb at the Governors Tennis Center.
