Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water valve replacement work on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at 10:00pm and will turn off water service on the following streets and roads.
The roads affected are Woodland Street and Greenwood Avenue.
Low water pressure is possible in the vicinity during the work.
Woodland Street will be closed, and traffic will be detoured to Gracey Avenue and Greenwood Avenue to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when traveling through the work zone or to choose an alternate travel route when possible.
The water valve replacement work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the road reopened by approximately 5:00am on Friday, April 25th.
