Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Commerce Street area water outage for water valve replacement

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a water outage on Tuesday, September 19th, at 10:30pm on Commerce Street, South Second Street, and Franklin Street for water valve replacement.

The following streets and roads will be included in the water outage.

  • Commerce Street (South First Street to South Third Street)
  • South Second Street (Legion Street to Commerce Street)
  • Franklin Street (North Second Street to North Third Street)

Low water pressure may be possible for the vicinity during the work.

The water valve replacement is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 4:30am on Wednesday, September 20th.
