Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department to hold Grand Opening of Beech Street Park

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department has announced the grand opening of  Beech Street Park. The public is invited to the event on Friday, September 15th. 2023 at 9:30am, to celebrate the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and collaboration.

Located at 408 Beech Street, Beech Street Park promises to offer a wide range of amenities to enhance the quality of life for local residents.

This project would not have been possible without the contributions of several city departments, whose dedication and support have transformed the vision into reality.

The following City of Clarksville departments played pivotal roles in the project:

  • Clarksville Street Department

  • Clarksville Gas, Water and Sewer

  • Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE)

  • Clarksville Municipal Properties

  • Neighborhood and Community Services

  • Clarksville Building & Facilities Maintenance Department Forestry Division

Beech Street Park boasts a number of amenities designed to cater to the diverse needs of the neighborhood, including a handicapped-accessible playground, pavilion, and ample seating with benches and picnic tables.

Additionally, more tables and benches will be installed following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Join us on September 15th at 9:30am at Beech Street Park to celebrate the grand opening and experience the fantastic additions this park brings to our community. 

This event will serve as a testament to the power of collaboration between city departments and the positive impact it can have on the lives of Clarksville residents. Guests are required to park at Byrns Darden Elementary School, and enjoy a short bus ride or walk to the park.
