What is Urban Gardening?

According to Burpee, urban gardening is the process of growing plants in an urban environment, often by those who live in apartment buildings, high rises, or other residences with limited outdoor space or semi-private community gardens.

Urban gardening methods can include using window boxes and pots on a windowsill to container gardens on a concrete patio or balcony. An urban garden can take on various forms, depending on the amount of space you have or what you plan on growing.
