Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is pleased to announces that Montgomery Gentry will be the headliner for Riverfest 2019. Riverfest, the City of Clarksville’s arts and entertainment festival, is now in its 32nd year.
Montgomery Gentry will perform at 9:15pm Saturday, September 7th on the Miller Lite Stage at McGregor Park. The concert is free and open to the public.
Eddie Montgomery continues to tour in honor of his duo partner, Troy Gentry, who died in a helicopter crash in September 2017. In a hit-making career that started in 1999, Montgomery Gentry has had more than 20 songs reach the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including five that hit No. 1.
“Our festival on the banks of the Cumberland is renowned for three days of food, fun and music,” Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts said. “And I’m sure Montgomery Gentry will provide an exciting finale to Riverfest 2019.”
This year’s festival, presented by the City of Clarksville and Miller Lite, will host three stages of entertainment. Music will range from country, R&B, local dance groups, to Christian, and more.

Admission to the three-day festival is free, thanks to partners Miller Lite, Visit Clarksville, Google, CDE Lightband, U.S. Bank, Waterdogs Scuba and Safety, Clarksville Living Magazine, Lamar Advertising, Mary’s Music, Bi-County Waste Management, and the Downtown Artist Co-Op.
About the Riverfest Festival
Riverfest is Clarksville’s longest running community festival, and brings more than 30,000 people to the banks of the Cumberland River in an arts and recreation celebration. This year, the Riverfest will be September 5th-7th, 2019. Music, art, family events, and more will fill Liberty Park on September 5th, and McGregor Park on September 6th-7th.
