Clarksville Street Department
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department has closed a section of Canterbury Road from Dogwood Lane to Sherwood Drive to replace a large drainage pipe.
The drainage pipe collapsed under the road in the Beachaven Subdivision after being damaged by erosion from recent heavy rains.
The collapse damaged the roadway, causing potentially hazardous conditions for motorists.
The section of Canterbury Road is expected to be closed for at least two weeks as Street Department crews remove and replace the pipe and restore the roadway to good condition.
Residents can use alternate routes through the neighborhood while the work is being completed.
