Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department
Clarksville, TN – Because of a break in the main circulation pipe, the Clarksville Park and Recreation New Providence Pool is closed until further notice.
The main circulation pipe, which feeds water from the pool back through the filtration system, broke Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 and will require significant repairs.

The Parks & Recreation Department has made several attempts to seal the main drains and repair the issue without draining the pool.
However, the drains were not able to be sealed, and the repair will require water to be cleared from the pool.
Once the repairs are completed, the pool will be refilled, chemicals balanced properly, and water temperature brought back up to a safe level. Clarksville Parks and Recreation anticipates reopening the facility during the first week of March.
