Kennesaw, GA – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team fought valiantly, but dropped a couple of close individual matches that swung the match in Kennesaw State’s favor, Sunday, at the Betty Siegel Courts.
The Owls (3-5) used a pair of double victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take the doubles point from the Govs (1-8).
Three of the six matches in singles went to three sets, but the Govs fell in all three of them and the Owls wrapped up the match with straight-set wins in the other three singles matches.
Austin Peay returns to action at home this Wednesday, 2:00pm, against Saint Louis, their first home match since January 27th.
