Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team held the draft for the 2016 Red-Black World Series, Tuesday. The three-game intrasquad event begins with a 3:30pm, Friday contest at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Each game will be a nine-inning contest, if extra innings are required international rules will be used with runners placed at first and second to start each half inning.
Each starting pitcher will be on a pitch limit and relievers will be on a multi-day pitch limit. Each position player will be required to play in each contest.
The Red Squad will be led by assistant coach David Weber with student managers Keirce Kimbel and Jake Puckett assisting along with players Josh Shrouder and Jordan Witcig. The Black Team is headed by assistant coaches Brandon Romans and Greg Byron with student manager Justin Bolden and player Levi Primasing helping.
