Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival is pleased to announce Kellie Pickler and Plumb as the Festival headliners for Saturday, April 16th. Kellie Pickler will perform on the Public Square Stage at 7:30pm. Plumb will perform on the Christian Stage at 7:00pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Country music artist and television personality, Kellie Pickler rose from a small town country girl to American celebrity. You might know Kellie from the 2005 ‘American Idol’ season where she finished sixth or from her numerous singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list, like “I Wonder”, “Best Days of Your Life”, and “Red High Heels.”
Pickler also stared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2013 partnering with Derek Hough. Most recently, Kellie, with songwriter husband Kyle Jacobs, stars in her own reality show ‘I Love Kellie Pickler’ on CMT. With her stunning pipes and country charm, this is one show you won’t want to miss on the Public Square stage.Performing on the Christian stage, Plumb, otherwise known as Tiffany Arbukle Lee, is a songwriter, recording artist and performer. Best known as a Christian Rock artist, she’s sold over 500,000 albums and 2 million singles worldwide. Making inspirational music for over a decade, Plumb’s had many singles and albums on the Billboard charts.
She writes soulful songs about life experiences and hope in singles like “One Drop”, “Need You Now”, and “Drifting”. Having performed for audiences worldwide, come be inspired by Plumb.
Another amazing Christian act coming to Clarksville is The Katinas. This contemporary Christian group made up of five brothers will entertain you with songs like “So Good”, “10,000 Reason (Bless the Lord)” and “Thank You” on Friday night.
Rivers and Spires is also pleased to announce the previous ‘The Voice’ contestants, Mark Hood, Matthew Schuler and Kristin Merlin, will be making a stop in Clarksville. Kristin will be performing on Saturday night on Public Square stage. Singer, songwriter and guitarist, Merlin will be singing her latest single ‘Boomerang’.
Matthew Schuler grew up singing in church, in his own rock band and then moved on to theatrical productions. Schuler will perform his current single “Invincible”. Don’t miss the chance to see these two singers on one stage.
The Festival also loves to show off all the local talent that makes the Clarksville community so great. Fortunately, there are several talent shows leading up to the festival. The Rivers and Spires Festival will be held April 14th-16th, 2016 in Downtown Clarksville. Admission and entertainment at the Festival are free and open to the public.
