Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports Tuesday June 2nd, from 9:00am – 3:00pm, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 westbound, between MM 11.0 and MM 8.0, in order to move equipment and materials across the interstate. The alternate truck lane at this location will also be closed.
This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.
On Saturday June 6th, from 8:00am-4:00pm, there will be rolling roadblocks in approximately 20-minute intervals on I-24 westbound, between MM 11.0 and MM 8.0, in order to install bridge beams.
TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee
On Thursday May 28th through Wednesday June 3rd, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
- I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
- I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
- I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties
On Thursday May 28th through Wednesday June 3rd, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
- I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
- I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
- I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
Davidson County
On Thursday May 28th through Wednesday June 3rd, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
On Monday June 1st through Wednesday June 3rd, from 7:00pm-5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway (SR 155) in both directions, between Ashland City Highway (SR 12) and Centennial Blvd in order for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.
