Tennessee Republican Party Statement Commemorating Memorial Day

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Ryan Haynes released the following statement to commemorate Memorial Day.

“Each year that our Republic marches forward, I’m reminded we’ve been sustained by the sacrifice of heroes.

“In this day and age, that term gets tossed around too loosely. But it is more than appropriate for the men and women who have valiantly served and especially those who made the ultimate selfless act on behalf of our nation.

“While I realize one day of remembrance is not nearly enough recognition for our fallen citizen soldiers, I hope all of us will take a few moments to reflect upon the fact the great American Experiment continues unabated because of those willing to serve.”
