Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team is looking to build on recent momentum when it visits Kennesaw State for a 2:00pm, Saturday match in Kennesaw, GA.
Seniors Vanessa Tavares and Ornella Di Salvo went 2-0 against the Blue Raiders, as did sophomore Hannah Tatlock.
Kennesaw State is off to a 0-6 start to the season. The Owls are led by seniors Virginie Stein and Jana Heuckinghaus. The duo has compiled a 2-2 record at No. 1 doubles and occupy the top two positions in the starting lineup.
After playing the Owls, the Lady Govs will remain on the road, taking on College of Coastal Georgia in a 1:00pm, Wednesday contest in Brunswick, GA.
