Clarksville, TN – After a pair of friendlies over the weekend, Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team will continue spring preparations throughout March and April with four events, head coach Kelley Guth announced this week.
Austin Peay will now take a month off from competition before closing out the spring schedule.
Tennessee Tech will be the first road stop for the Lady Govs, with scrimmages against the Golden Eagles and Cumberland on March 28th. Four days later, on April 1st, APSU will travel to Nashville for a 6:00pm, contest against Lipscomb.
Austin Peay will host its annual Alumni weekend on April 11th, which also includes a 7-on-7 tournament on the home pitch.
Rounding out the slate on April 18th will be a trip to Southeast Missouri, whom the Lady Govs defeated 1-0 in overtime last season thanks to a game-winning goal by Mary Ruth Locastro in the 94th minute.
