Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Youth Dodgeball League registration is currently underway!
Pre-registration is required and participants can register at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main office as well as online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com now through January 9th, 2015.
This six-week Youth Dodgeball League, held at the Crow Community Center, is free to participate with a Community Center ID.Community Center IDs can be purchased at any of our three community centers or at our main office, located at 102 Public Square, for just $5.00.
IDs are good for an entire year at the Burt-Cobb, Kleeman, and Crow centers. For families with multiple children, the first child’s ID will be $5.00, the second will be $3.00, and three of more children will be $2.00 each.
Games will be played at the Crow Center on Friday evenings beginning January 9th, with a pre-league meeting held January 2nd for all players to go over rules and teams. Teams will be divided into two age divisions, 6 to 10 and 11 to 17.
Dodgeball is a great way to keep children active while having fun. Dodgeball promotes teamwork and develops arm strength, speed, flexibility and hand-eye coordination. Balls are made of soft fabric to prevent injury.
