Montgomery County, TN – On Tuesday morning, October 22, the Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library marked their Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification with a green ribbon cutting.
Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers and City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan were on hand for the ribbon cutting.
After Martha Hendricks, Director of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library and Bob Lewis, the library’s Senior Systems Support Tech, shared some of the efforts the library made to earn CMC Green Certification, the mayors asked if the staff were implementing some of the same practices at home. Several of the employees raised their hands and nodded to indicate that they were doing the same in their homes.
