Clarksville TN –Area high school students hoping to enter college will have an opportunity to win a $3,000 scholarship to APSU, when the university hosts it’s Spring 2013 AP Day, February 16.
Prospective students interested in knowing more about attending APSU are encouraged to attend AP Day. During this event, students will tour campus, talk to APSU students, meet future professors, check out residence hall options and explore classrooms, labs and galleries.
Check-in is at noon in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center lobby. Light refreshments will be provided at check-in. In addition, during that time, guests will have opportunities to tour the campus. Prospective students and their guests will meet with staff from the Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing/Residence Life, and the Student Life and Engagement offices.Students then will talk with the Student Government Association representatives and other students, while parents will hear from campus leaders. Official AP Day activities end at 5 p.m., but students and guests can stick around to check out the bookstore.
The names of students who attend AP Day will be placed in a drawing for a $3,000 scholarship. Guests are asked to park in the Trahern parking lot on Jackson Alley, adjacent to the Music/Mass Communications Building. Signs will direct guests to the check-in.
