The Govs are returning four starters from a team that won more than 20 games last season, highlighted by first-team All-OVC pick TyShwan Edmondson. Redshirt junior Anthony Campbell also is set to make his return from last season’s knee injury. Already this offseason, Edmondson and Campbell, along with senior center John Fraley have been named preseason All-OVC by the online publication College Sports Madness.
Austin Peay women’s basketball team also returns four starters which happened to be the team’s four leading scorers in 2010-11. Second-team All-OVC selection Whitney Hanley, along with senior Jasmine Rayner, junior Meghan Bussabarger and sophomore Nicole Olzewski are set to lead a squad that also consists of five newcomers.
