Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of December.
On December 7th, a Power Breakfast will be held at the Riverview Inn starting at 7:30am. The breakfast will host Dr. David Black as the keynote speaker. Black is an internationally recognized forensic toxicologist and founder of Aegis Sciences, a leading independent, full-service forensic toxicology laboratory specializing in Zero-Tolerance Drug Testing. For more than 25 years, Black has worked with professional sports organizations, Fortune 500 companies and other clients to develop and implement substance abuse policies throughout the U.S. and internationally. Black is the husband of Congressman-Elect Diane Black.
The Chamber’s Women In Business series will be held on December 16th at the Hilton Garden Inn, 290 Alfred Thun Road, from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Connie Linsler Valentine will be the guest speaker for this event. Valentine is the current President and CEO of the Arts and Business Council. With 25 years as an art and orchestra executive, she works to foster partnerships between the business and art community in order to benefit the economic and cultural vitality of greater Nashville. Her work with clients in the music industry has garnered several major awards and a Grammy nomination.
