Family of Congressional Candidate Vote Early in Primary
Dresden, TN – Roy Herron, wife Nancy and teenage twin sons Rick and John went to the polls Friday during early voting for the 2010 Primary Election.

“My family settled in Weakley County in 1819, this has always been my home and it always will be,” Roy Herron said. “If the people will let me serve them in Congress, I will take our Tennessee values to Washington and fight for them every day.”

Small-town attorney, businessman and former minister, Roy Herron is running for Congress to bring jobs to Tennessee and restore fiscal responsibility to Washington. As a state legislator, Herron has fought predatory lenders, worked to make healthcare more affordable and passed laws that are tough on criminals while protecting victims.
Herron has written three books, including Tennessee Political Humor and God and Politics: How Can a Christian Be in Politics?
He lives in Dresden with his wife of 22 years, Nancy, and their three sons.
