I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the Clarksville-Montgomery County National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) “Community Voter Mass Registration Drive & Rally 2006”.
The Rally is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 10, 2006 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Chucks Furniture Depot, 1600 Fort Campbell Blvd. Clarksville TN next to McDonalds.
The purpose and goal of this rally is to register 1,000 new voters and to provide voter education to the entire community.
We are inviting out local college fraternities, sororities, guest speakers, members from the state and local Democratic and Republican Parties, as well as various civic organizations, local elected leaders, candidates, Fort Campbell, Soldiers and their families, the community, and all churches just to name a few.
The TN Republican Party Chairman Mr. Bob Davis and TN Democratic Party Chairman Mr. Bob Tuke have already confirmed their attendance to this event and Governor Phil Bredesen will confirm his attendance three weeks before this event.
We will also have on hand local and Nashville media outlet’s doing live remotes.
If you are able to attend I know we can achieve our goal, and also provide a community service to the Clarksville – Fort Campbell Area.
