Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans announced today the launch of their High School Game of the Week program, designed to recognize and reward high school coaches who continuously demonstrate coaching excellence and dedication to their football programs.
Each week for 10 weeks during the 2015 high school football season, a panel of media members will select the top high school football matchups from across the state. Of those matchups, four will be nominated as the Titans High School Game of the Week.
Program Information
Weekly nominations will be posted to www.titansonline.com/gameoftheweek – beginning the Monday of game week – and fans are encouraged to vote for their preferred matchup.
Fans may vote an unlimited number of times within the 72-hour voting window. Voting will close at 11:59pm on the Wednesday of each game week.
The matchup with the most votes will be named the Titans High School Game of the Week, with the head coach of the winning team distinguished as the Titans High School Coach of the Week.
The Game of the Week will be announced via the Titans social media platforms after voting is concluded.
Each Coach of the Week will receive a grant in the amount of $1,000 from the NFL Youth Football Fund to benefit their school’s football program.
Through the Coach of the Week program, the Titans and the NFL Youth Football Fund have donated more than $180,000 in grant funding to help maintain and upgrade high school football programs.
The High School Game of the Week program is one of many initiatives carried out by the Titans to support the growth and development of high school football across the state.
